I'm new to the VFP side of things and have been trying to update VFP data using the VFP OleDbProvider. When I try to retrieve the UpdateCommand from the OleDbCommandBuilder I get the following error "Dynamic SQL generation form the UpdateCommand is not supported against a SelectCommand that does not return any column information". I searched this library and found that this was an issue with MSFT's OleDb provider and it would be corrected in the next release. I downloaded and installed the latest provider, 9.0.00.2412 and still get the same result. Is there another provider that does work or is there a workaround that does not involve writting your own Update, Insert, Delete commands?
