If you mean the page coordinates as far as where it is displayed on the screen... no they're not. It really sounded like a resource file problem to me.

>Craig - You can ignore my previous post. After messin' with it for a while yesterday I was able to solve it this morning by reediting and saving the frx report file. However, I still don't understand what happened. Are the page coordinates somehow saved into the compiled frx?

>>How else could it be done though? Let's say MS Word for instance... if I bring up a modal dialogbox in Word, the toolbars do not respond. The only thing that I can think of that can be done is to create a modal preview form class in the frxpreview.vcx that has the buttons/functionality of the toolbar at the top of the form (so there is no toolbar) and then shows the preview below that on the same form. Any other ideas?

>>>Hi Craig -

>>>Of course with this neat hack you're not really fixing the MODAL problem, because TOP forms are always modeless. You're basically forcing the Preview to be modeless, i.e. forcing it to function as if the NOWAIT clause had been used.
>>>
>>>This "toolbar is unresponsive when a modal form is shown in a top form app" issue is actually a pain-in-the-butt bug in the VFP9 product. (At least, this is my opinion.)
>>>
>>>The ReportPreview application, being implemented as a foxpro application, can only do what normal VFP forms are able to do.
