Well there have been over 500,000 I.T. jobs offshored in the past year. I keep wondering if it will ever have any affect on me (as it has not yet).
As to what your American friend said - although I'm not quite sure how much I agree with that, I do think the 500,000 computer geeks over here that don't have their jobs anymore are not the most skilled ones here....and probably the 'bottom of the barrel' for the most part.
