I have occasional problems where the user has erratic failures. Checking the tables shows no errors but when trying to pack a memo file it fails saying the file is invalid. I ran a program which read every memo to a local variable and then replaced it in the table with no effect. I resolved it in the end by copying out the whole memo information, removing the memo variable from the table, adding it back in and then copying back the information. Has anyone any similar experience, but with a better solution. I want to create an administration program for the user to resolve any corruption problems by reindexing etc. and would like a better solution for this problem.
