This burns me to no end. I've had to call Dell numerous times for clients of mine. Anyone who bought a higher-end system, or is a coporate customer, gets someone from here in the States, but everyone else gets routed to someplase where English is not the primary language. Same with some of the Airlines, US Airways recently for me. It took me numerous attempts to even get them to understand what I was talking about, and then I would only get the damn script answer for the general heading that my issue fell under. You ask to speak to a supervisor and I've gotten told that there are none. The occasional times there is one, they have to call me back, but they never do. It's to the point that where I'm telling clients and everyone I know to buy locally or have someone - me or someone else - build it for them. I don't know how anyone not in the industry even begins to deal with this stuff; it drives me crazy and I have at least some clue technically.

Sorry, you hit one of my nerves... <s>

>I'll have to remind myself of his comments the next time I speak to a MSFT rep from India who can barely speak English. Thrice I have hung up on an individual after giving up attempting to communicate. Even yesterday a MSFT sales rep phoned and I could not understand her. It took 15 minutes to determine it was only a sales call! :o) Maybe that was MSFT's goal? :o)
