It is just a shame how people treat echother. Each group thinks they are the chosen ones, live in the promised lands for millenia. All it braught was war, poverty and a lot of innocent lives. People are just stubborn, ignorant or just plain stupid not to see what this all is causing. How the hell can you believe in God beeing your father when you look at over two thousand years of trouble.

How different would the world be, if religion and state were totally seperated, people were properly educated and a strong economy was build up.

I'm not saying the arabs or the jews are wrong. They both have their share of problems. Step number one would to get rid of all extremist preaching hate. Have them isolated, or neutralized. But be sure that applies to both camps.

I think, Israel is doing the right thing. Returning the lands that are not theirs. However after it has been returned, and the palestinians are still using terror against israel, it could apply the following tactic:

Have a point system for terrorist activities. When a treshold is exceeded, invade a certain territory and occupy for at least 5 years. Only 5 years after the last terroristic activities in that area they return the land to the palestinians.

Have the international community a close watch over the process.
