The error is new for VFP9 but index expressions requirements were always the same. Unfortunatelly, thet weren't documented. See http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~IndexExpressionRequirements.

BTW, you can enable Auto Quote for UT replies from the Message View setup.
