I tried this and still did not help. But I think I found the problem.

I have a routine controlled by a timer that goes out and checks the status of the administration flags of the application. It does this using SPT. My code was supposed to store the current Alias(), run the check code, then set the current Alias() back to the stored value. I was doing a return command before the Alias() was reset. So the cursor that controlled the form only had the scope for a few seconds, on form refresh, then lost scope of the records while I was manipulating the text boxes. It seems to be working okay as I make sure the form has access to the cursor.
