People like Mr. Robertson have a very strong religious following. Mr. Robertson and other television evangelists preach intolerance and hatred. “Send me your money and you are going to heaven”! “Believe in me for I am the light”!

Well, if you do a quick history of our television gods you see they have a number of things in common. Hate Catholics (Billy Graham, his son and daughter preach this as well as Pat Robertson and others), hate specific groups, and be a supporter of “America”. GWB is good – democrats are bad. It goes on and on.

Television evangelists like Billy Graham, Jimmy Swaggart, Pat Robertson, Jim Baker, Oral Roberts, Dr. Gene Scott and others have an agenda, which seems to be against Christian values and doctrine. However what is most frightening to me is the financial support they receive from those that follow them. If people such as those that I have mentioned were not popular then they would have no financial base from which to work.
