We run Win95/Client32 on Novell network here, I place my DBC and tables on the Novell server and performance is quite fast. I think the problem may be the routing through Novell to NT that degrades performance. By using the Microsoft Client you have a more direct access to NT server.

Thanks for the response. My data resides on a NT server (Fox Data and SQL Server Data). The client logs on a Novell server and then log to the Nt server.
