I have one of the 17" wide-screen Toshiba P25 670 models. Thus far it's been an excellent machine. Has a cd/dvd multi drive (reads and writes both cd's and dvd's), holds up to 2 gig, plus it comes with Windows XP media center (xp pro with a bunch of other cool goodies in it).. so it also came with a built in TV tuner and remote - has built in Wi-Fi...etc etc...
The thing is a little loud when all its fans come one, and the underside of it can get a little bit hot...but other than that I've been extreamly happy with it.
