A month ago I got that new Dell Inspirion 9300 and spent the extra $100 for the better display. This is a fairly big notebook, that is a desktop replacement (weighs about 8ish pounds), and has the big 17" display. I got rid of one of my 19" monitors, as this has the same desktop space. It is cool (hardly no heat at all) to the touch as it has that newer Intel MT chip in it. Also, it has no fans and is super quite. The speakers are a step above normal as well, as this unit comes with Windows Media Edition 2005 or Windows XP Pro.

The thing is this: everyone who sees it is in "awe" of it - especially the display, and I couldn't be more happy with the keyboard and display, and also its connections. I use a laptop wireless mouse, as I just don't like touchpads.
