hi bonnie

I only used the button to demonstrate my problem to its simplest form. I am actually creating a class that presents the user a list of all student names that matches a search criteria. What Im trying to list in the context menu are the matching names. The user must then select a name from this list and my program retrieves the student name and place it to a variable.

I already used an IF conditional statement instead of a MsgBox but the result is just the same.

I guess my problem is related with asynchronous execution of the event handler because when I placed a MsgBox() to delay the execution, the code works well.
