You might be a little-right if you talk about desktop machines. But if you talk about notebook. It's important. May be all of them made in china... but Toshiba, Sony ... using good parts and theirs notebooks has good ergonomy.

I was bought a notebook named "PC-Brand" and it was a big disappointing for me. It's batteries unlock buttons was located like screen opening buttons and my hands were touching them so they fall down. It was terrible notebook. And price is you said like Toshiba, Sony prices. If I give 1600$ for that notebook it must be a Sony or Toshiba.
