Allan,
Keep in mind that not everybody uses Windows as their OS (that would be Bill's wet dream <s>). People using Linux most likely use FireFox. Most MAC owners also use FireFox.
If the survely only included people using a Windows OS I would imagine that you would see results similar to what you sugested in your earlier post.
Just my $0.02 (or 0.01 canadian currency <s>)

>I can't dispute your numbers - but I find it interesting that this survey suggests that for every 10 computers that have internet access, almost 2 are using Firefox as their browser. Just seems a bit high.

>>As of August 2005, according to W3Schools, FireFox has 18.8% of the market share. IE6 has 68.9%, IE5 has 5.8%, and Netscape 7 has only 0.4% so I would say no, that is not a safe assumption. Actually, safe may not be the correct word as you safely assume that, but you would be wrong not in danger. ;)

>>>Interesting... Out of curiosity, does anyone know what percentage of the browser market FireFox has?
>>>
>>>Would it be safe to assume that 99% of browsers used by the general population are IE or Netscape?
Semper ubi sub ubi.
