Unfortunately, WMP cannot be uninstalled as it is part of the Operating System. Similar to IE.

I am using verion 10. I've gone to update in WMP and it tells me I am using the most recent version.

Unfortunately, I think this problem is going to require me to dig deep into the settings. I've ensured that the checkbox in WMP that says "connect to internet (overrides other options)" is checked, and it doesn't change anything.

If no one can think of anything, I would greatly appreciate advising on a forum that is more geared to a problem of this sort (ie deals with WMP).
