I am not sure about what you are doing here, but have you looked at GoFish, it is in the download area. It looks in all files for specific directories or projects. It kind of sounds like what you are trying to do here.

Maybe the code references tool could be modified to support searching code in multiple directories, but frankly I've never liked this tool. Too slow and often gives incomplete search results. I'm looking for Google-query speed here.
