As Sergey already pointed out, the example is for Visual FoxPro 9. Most of my blog examples have Visual FoxPro 9.0 specific code built into them. An unconscious effort on my part to help encourage developers to upgrade? Perhaps. <g>

I do appreciate knowing that the skinning example will run on some previous versions of Visual FoxPro as well with only this minor change being made. While backward-compatibility is not one of the things I strive for, when it is this easy it begs the question, "Why not do it?". I will implement this change in an upcoming version of the skinning example, along with other enhancements I am making. Thank you for the feedback and taking the time to point this out.
