I can't remember. In VFP9, there seems to be a built-in function to shorten a string by replacing some characters with dots (...). Something like:

Changing "\\MyServer\Directory\Subdirectory1\Subdirectory2\Filename.Ext"
To "\\MyServer\Directory\...\Filename.Ext"

Can anybody tell me what it is?
