Oh God, it's you again!

This is not the first time that I have berated Mohammed for not having a go himself. Nor, for that matter am I the only one (even in this thread), nor the only one "making a rod" who has done so.

As to answering his questions, I am more than happy to help a guy out with suggestions, or my knowledge, as to how to go about a task, particularly one new to him, but I draw the line at debugging his code for him, without his ever having tried to do it himself. I have helped M out a lot, not just on the Thread and, as such, like Borrislav et al, I feel I've earned the right to speak my mind.

I can remember as a graduate software engineer, always asking a principal engineer to help me with my problems, and he was always helpful, till the day he'd had enough and politely suggested I go RTFM. This I did, and it "growed me up", and taught me to be self-sufficient and autodidactic.

No-one's going to better himself if he clammers for help at the first obstacle.

Anyway, you'd call it pompous - I'd say sarcastic.
