>If Toshiba and Sony have AMD based systems then why not, might be. I actually have one Toshiba, but it's Intel based to my shame and is no good other than playing solitaire on it (good side I gave it to my wife and she doesn't touch my desktop computer:). It was performing well only for 2 years or so. Then first battery died, problems with adaptor followed that etc. I hate computers with a max life cycle of 2-3 years. If I were rich wouldn't bother. Toshiba and Sony don't have Turion chip models, do they? Centrino is everywhere and it's nothing more than a marketing cheat. Many even think that Centrino is a new chip. Too slow for the price. Anyway promotion sells.
