>Hi Rick
>What will WWWC 4 do in helping to convert a vfp7 exe to a Web Based application on the server? A 1-2 paragraph overview would be great. Went to your web site but didn't get the answer to this question.

It depends on what you are looking for <g>... If you're looking for something that just makes your application run on the Web - there's no such solution.

Web Connection allows you to leverage your existing FoxPro skills and some of your existing FoxPro code (business logic) on the Web by providing a VFP based framework for Web Development. IOW, you work inside of Visual FoxPro with FoxPro code to do all your Web related processing using the VFP IDE to build, debug and compile your applications.

>Also, is there any advantage in upgrading from vfp7 to vfp9 as far as converting / building vfp Web Based apps?

Web Connection works with VFP 6-9 but it works better with 8 or later as some of the newer features have slowly been integrated into Web Connection. Future versions are likely to work only with VFP 8 or later.
