Now I noticed that after I add a record (from VFP app), I go to Enterprise Manager, open the table, and select to Return All Rows, I don't see the new records. It looks like that PK value got stock on 9384. Yet, I can retrieve the newly added record from my VFP app.

Without a cluster order, none order exists.
have you defined a cluster primary key ?
