Hello Steve,
Unless you've made changes to pathing somewhere in the app, try adding a Metadata subfolder to your app "home" folder and adding Metadata.dbf there.
Metadata.dbf is a free table, btw, so changing your database path shouldn't affect how your app retrieves data.
Hope that helps,

>I am preparing an application for the first time to be distributed to other users. I have compiled the app to an .exe and the required vfp runtime dll's are in the home folder as are the other required files designated in the dev guide. At startup, I get the message "Cannot find Metadata.dbf" and the app closes down. Putting this table in the home folder does not resolve the problem, although I thought it is only required for design time. I'm using mm version 6.2. Any help is appreciated.
