>By too much data I meant too many fields to fit in a grid. I suppose a child parameterized view would work. I'd just need to requery on each parent change. I thought that might be to much overhead.

One of possible ways to streamline grid interface is to put just few critical fields there and add column.button 'Details' which will bring up dialog/entry form with other fields.
