Thanks Fabio. I usually don't use a dataenvironment with a form because my data files frequently move around from server to server. If I use a dataenvironment the form can't find the files when they move. So I always establish the data environment programmatically using a location pointer in the user's userdata.dbf. That way when the files move all I have to do is change a data value in one dbf and everything is good to go.
>>Well I'm finally trying to understand how to deal with relationships in a database container. I've created a database with a few related tables and have created the persistent relationships between them.

I was under the impression that creating a premanent relationship within the database would relieve me from having to reestablish it all the time with separate code. Was I wrong? If so, what's the advantage of setting the relationship in the database? Anything besides referential integrity?
