If Jan Brebara wants to recover some of the damage to his name and product, then his first course of action should be to take care of the customers who feel they were screwed in the process of purchasing HIS product. Regardless of how the heck (substitute whatever word you want) the customer managed to acquire HIS product. In correspondence with me, I was told by you that Jan Brebara is saddened by the situation I found myself in when purchasing HIS product. You told me that he could not compensate me for something done by Hallogram/Xitech. I have not requested a refund. I have requested the version of the product I should have received given the timing of my purchase. What cost is there to Jan Brebara to send a copy of the latest version of ReFox and a key via e-mail? I can prove my purchase of ReFox 10 and the timing of that purchase. His absolute refusal to deal with this and similar situations shows a complete ignorance of the value of customer service. I purchased the product once. I may be interested in purchasing future upgrades. But I'll be damned if I am going to purchase an upgrade a week after unknowingly purchasing the previous version.

>BTW Xitech are not the authors of Refox. They are only a distributor of Refox and sold the product to their clients and also sold Refox to Hallogram. The author of the product is Jan Brebara how has as of February 2005 ,for the launch of Refox XI, decided to take matters in his own hands and trying to limit the damage caused to his name and his product by Xitech and Hallogram. His site is here http://web.telecom.cz/refox/index-en.html

>>>I had the same problem. I told Hallogram that if they screwed their customers they would lose their customers. I also told them that if they screwed me I would plaster their name and sordid reputation on all the developer forums I could find - including this one. They sent me a prompt refund.
