Highlight some of the Visual FoxPro Community efforts in enhancing Visual FoxPro and increasing its visibility (open source projects, tools, code, blogs, podcasts, forums, user groups, conferences, articles, etc.). Let everyone know this work is going on, that there is a resurgence that has been sparked by Visual FoxPro 9.0. Encourage everyone to get involved and give them some links and information on how they can become involved and/or contribute. I believe we can get sustainable momentum and excitement built up, and a helping hand from the MS Fox Team would sure be appreciated.

As much as I love hearing about Sedna, it's still well over a year and a half away at best. If you want to highlight what the MS Fox Team has been doing, then I'd spend it on VFP9 SP1 and use it as an opportunity to plug Visual FoxPro 9.0 and how the most stable release to date is about to get even better. (And, while I've got your attention: I hope you have someone fixing those paint problems in VFP 9, because having themed controls, animated graphics, transparent gifs and transparent labels misbehave is a pain. If you need some more repo code let me know.)

>I thought I would ask for requests and ideas for topics and such to be included in the September letter for http://msdn.com/vfoxpro/letters. Feel free to post a reply on this thread here or send me an email directly with suggestions.
