Bill;

There are lots of hits on Google but it takes a lot of time.

Two good books on the subject of Dot NET Application Frameworks

Has anyone on the UT written a paper such as you described? Using a application framework is the best way to go in the long run.

Mere Mortals is a rich Application Framework. It follows good practices and OOP. You could write your own but then who fixes bugs, adds new features and determines how to create and use the framework? Why you do! That takes time and money. I like products like MM as you have a forum to go to should you have a question or problem.
