>I appreciate your suggestions, but what you are asking for is for Microsoft to change it's position with Visual FoxPro and that is not part of any future plans. The information relative to the topics you suggest is all at http://msdn.com/vfoxpro, including the current complete roadmap for Visual FoxPro. I'm open to suggestions for details to include in the letter that are within the positioning and roadmap for Visual FoxPro.

Just for the sake of total clarity may I break down my post into its component parts so that you (MS) can just specifically address each point for me:

1) Re-iterate that MS are fully supportive of VFP 9 and its great data-centric features and RAD environment ____ .T. / .F.

2) State clearly that MS strongly recommend VFP9, with and without SQL Server backend, for all small to medium sized business ____ .T. / .F.

3) ... as a superb dev tool for rapidly building object oriented data centric applications in record time with the ability to connect to numerous data sources including its own native database system ____ .T. / .F. ( This is obviously .T. )

4) Say that VFP is used by countless thousands of dev shops from around the world ____ .T. / .F. ( Surely this must be .T. )

5) ... and that MS hope to continue to see developers move to VFP as it is a great development tool ____ .T. / .F. ( I'll answer this one for you as .F. iro the push on .Net )

6) ... with a sparkling future ahead of it, building on a fantastic track record of new versions and releases ____ .T. / .F.

Just trying to be crystal clear on this :)
