Certainly not woman, but I don't think woperson works either since (another of my assumptions) I doubt your wife is gender neutral. Also female won't work, of course, nor feperson. Maybe fefem? No. That starts to sound too much like a Jack in the Beanstalk thing.

Wopewreson won't do because that makes a feminine version of "person"! I though that the feminine gender's lib movement had already come up with one: "Wimmin", though I can't think of the singular of this.
