We are doing some multi-user data dumps. But we do not have the BEGIN TRANSACTION /END TRANSACTION statements anywhere in our code. We open the tables as shared, and append and replace as needed without tableupdate either.

Is there a better way to do this, that would be faster? Point me to a book or article if need be.
