Hi Joel,

>You've got to create a COM+ package for this in order to use impersonation for a user that has rights on the network (same is true for networked dbfs). There are some good instructions for this on the ActiveVFP site in the documentation.

Created a COM+ object to which I attached the .dll. It worked fine, but I got very frustrated trying to remove the COM+ object from memory each time I wanted to rebuild the project - probably something amiss on my part.

Anyway, meanwhile I changed MSDE from NT authentication to SQL authentication with a username and password. Worked a treat, so I have reverted back to 'old-fashioned' COM objects for now.
