Nope, I stopped with the icons. I just can not afford the luxury of working on that problem now. I need to finish two pressing tasks first.

In the form where I wanted to show file selector I put a call to Herman's function from DLL and commented our the call of my form. I want my manager to look into this new implementation and decide, what does he prefer

It's not that visible, so I'm using Fabio's idea with column's refresh method and DynamicFontShadow property. The only problem is that the code doesn't work if you have columns with sparse=.f. If not, it works fine.
