>>>Can't happen, Denis. That's like asking newspaper opeds to pool their opinions and have only one of them write it up. Forget it.

>>Those guys are all working on the same thing. Be the one to have the biggest news. That could result in more $$$.

>>For us (VFP community) it's more a matter of educating potential customers to the real strength of our beloved product. So if everything is just in one place it would probably make things easier.

>But a blog is a personal opinion piece. You aren't going to get everybody to pool their opinions and have one person write it up on this any more than on an oped piece. Is not going to happen.

>If a VFP blog were nothing more than a list of features, then maybe, but it's not. What one person likes about VFP might be exactly what someone else detests. You're yelling into the wind on this one.

>Besides, a blog is something that usually invites criticism, debate, and discussion. Do you want potential customers coming into THE VFP BLOG only to see a lot of nit picking, arguing and wrangling? How good would that be for the product?
Thanks guys for all the feedback. I know more about blogs than I knew before starting this thread. And you also told me why some of the things I proposed don't make sense from a blog point of view.
