>Gentlemen,
> I'm really concerned about this. Whether or not MCSD is a valid way of ascertaining a developer's skill, the mass media are pushing our clients to value anyone with Microsoft certification.

Well, I realize this isn't your "job" but, since you are saying lot's more than Microsoft, do you know if the VFP 6.0 cert will be a choice for the second two core exams? I am referring to the two exams that currently force you to choose between VB 6.0 and VC++ 6.0.

Marty,
I'm only passing on what was said at devcon. I, for one, hold NO micorosoft certification and don't have any current plans to persue one. That is completely a personal issue.
