Yeah but not all people could afford to leave the city. Most of what I've seen on telly seem to be the poor African-Americans - don't think I've seen a white (other than those in uniform). Besides, in that situation you've got to ask yourself if you're willing, before the storm hits, to leave all your worldly possessions in a city deserted except for looters, with no law to protect them.

Rock and a hard place.
