The only thing You need to make sure is that You have the correct record of the second table right?

If You don't need the second t. in the Detail band. remove the relation or open the table again in a second workarea. then there is only a small function You need in order to set You to the correct record (or that creates You a one record-cursor). The function can return an empty string. if You place the call as the first object in the Summary band You should be done.
