It's just that I find many arguments (given from those in charge (governments or gas company)) to be hilarious.

The problem we face right now is not just a car problem. This will influence prices for many things if gas prices stay that high for too long.

And the proposed solution are just simply dumb. There's a major recession coming on if they (goverments) don't act fast.

Prices will go up for many things. Food for instance has to be carried by trucks. How do these trucks work? with gas. Who will pay for that? us

So this thing could become a huge mess if nothing is done fast.

Oh and in the meantime do you think that your salary will follow those higher prices? <vbg>

So this is the equivalent of a salary cut. What happens when the majority have salary cuts? They cut on their expenses. THis means that people could lose their jobs...
