Importance: Normal Hey, Kevin, I'm dying to hear what the future holds for CBMM. I heard this from Ed Leafe: " For those of you who could not attend, the main news announced at that meeting is that there will be a new version of Codebook released by the end of the summer . It will be written by Y. Alan Griver and CT Blankenship of Flash ( yes, CT is now a Flasher! ), and myself. It will incorporate the errata corrections, the changes CT made in his SAVI Codebook, all of the eBizObj classlibs, as well as many of the internal improvements Flash has made to the framework over the last 3 years." I also read that VFP 6.0 will have it's own "framework" classes, the Visual Foxpro Foundation Classes or some such thing. Also, I'm starting to get requests to view the CBMM app data via a web browser on an intranet. Rather than rewrite all my queries in Visual Interdev, I'd like to just ODBC to my DBC and re-use existing views. However, when I create an ODBC connection to my DBC (which has around 500 views), Visual InterDev only shows about 100 of them. A bug in VI? VFP's ODBC drivers? VFP itself? Is anyone doing something like this? How will all these mesh with future versions of CBMM? Thanks! Rob
