I use database tables for most purposes. There are just too many features which are not available with free tables, especially:

Long field names

Transactions (in VFP 6; I think this has changed in some later version)

Triggers

Referential integrity, which depends on triggers

Especially the last one is important - I simply can not imagine working without referential integrity.
