Yes, You're absolutely right. I never used them so far but I'm *really* glad we have them now. Absolutely necessary if You need the functionality. Allows for things like User-Access-Security that really does that. One thing I think You couldn't achieve in code (at least could be bypassed via OLEDB) except if You do things like crypt the DB or modify the header - stuff like that.
