Hello All,

I am trying to install 1.4 on a machine that only has VS2005 Beta and no previous versions of the framework.

The installation program starts but then it gives the following error:

Object Reference is Not Set to an Instance of an Object

I did a quick search on that error, and there was an article on that on Microsoft's knowledge-base that recommended registering Adodb.dll in the global assembly cache. So I ran:

C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\gacutil.exe /i "C:\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\Primary Interop Assemblies\adodb.dll"

Than registration succeeded; however, I still get the error when attempting to install the framework.

Has anybody ran into this?
