In English Paul McNett has done a lot for SubVersion/CVS users in VFP. You find his scX tool on http://paulmcnett.com/scX.php.

That sounds much like he's trying to use an external editor. There are editors that support syntax highlighting for VFP. But none of the external editors has IntelliSense, supports VCX files, etc.
