Ya que veo que usas VFP 6 puedes hacer sigiente:
Selec * from abc into cursor cMiTabla
use dbf("cMiTabla") again in 0 alias cMiTabla2
use in cMiTabla
select cMiTabla2
Alter Table cMiTabla2 Add column MiNuevoCampo N(7,2)Espero que te sirve.
