Funny you mention this. I watched the news reported by dutch journalists getting arround the police block into the area doing their reports. They met a mother with a 14 day old baby in very terrible condition because the baby had no milk to drink and was fed with plain water. The dutch reporters were very shocked of the situation and took the mother, her sister the baby and another relative into their car and dilevered them at family. Needless to say that family has lost faith in the american government

The question they asked themselves is. If dutch reporters can do this, why can't the american government do this ??

In 1953 we had a similar disaster in holland. During a very heavy storm with spring tide the dikes broke and large parts of the province of zeeland was under water. Lots of people died that night. However rescue actions where almost inmediate. And this was in an age where the means of communications were primitive compared to 2005.

I sincerely hope that this is a costly, but valuable lesson to most powerfull nation on earth.
