I also commute to work of over 35 US miles. But I take a commuter train that stops about six blocks from my home. Once in Seattle, it only a few block to the office. Much of everything else is close to the buses stops, and is far cheaper then if I had to drive to the same places.

You' thinking! And cheaper too. No more high gas prices. No more high insurance. No more taking people to place I would not go to. No more moving peoples stuff.
Now, they are stuck doing it for me for a change.
