In order to get MCSD certified you MUST choose two tests in VB 6.0 or VC++ 6.0. VFP is not currently on the list anywhere, primary or elective.

as others have said, at Devcon they announced that a new exam would come out in conjunction with the product. they also said that MEI would be providing the course materials.
as for my opinion, i'm kind of pissed that once i finally got around to taking the arch 1 & 2 exams , they are no longer required or electives for that matter.
i want the vfp 6.0 to be my elective exam, however that means that every exam that i need to take ( for the new track ) is not available yet. it kind of sucks because this is my slower time of the year where i can dedicate more time to it.
i'm trying to figure out what to do next.
my boss said i should just wait, but i'd rather keep with the momentum.
as for having to take vb or vc tests, i don't mind too much. i'd rather it be one required and have 2 electives to allow you to customize the track to meet your development patterns.
now if i could only get microsoft to offer a delpi exam :)
