Please don't take me wrong. I am not advicating for smoking in public places. I am advicating for the right of choose. Here (on the UT) and elsewhere around me, I have seen rights of people taken away my those say they are doing it for our on good.
My wife smokes. She says she would not have any problem giving up smoking today, if the state would provide her with free patches, like they do with condoms to students (do they still do that?). It is one thing to tell a person to stop for their own good, but another to do so and not offer any help. Hey, George,
I mean no disrespect to you or your family - but unless the state is also funding cigarette purchases, I fail to understand the logic. I don't know how much patches cost, but I'm sure the dollars add up when one is buying packs (or cartons) of cigarettes.
