A Monthly Close process moves data from active tables to history tables within the same SQL 2000 database using an Insert Into query. It has been running without error for about 2 years. Recently, the workstation was upgraded from Windows 2000 Pro to Windows XP Pro (a clean install), RAM added (1.5 GB total), and the applications reinstalled. Now the Close fails on one specific query. The string passed is long but within limits. Typically there will be 12000 records of 47 fields, 18 of them text, moved between these 2 tables each time the Close is run. Any ideas why this is failing?
